St. Andrew's is a lively Anglican
Church community where laughter, respect
for differences, and gentleness are encouraged. Faith is something to be
experienced, acted upon, questioned, and studied. There is a diversity of
opinion among us on most subjects.
Our worship is within a beautiful historical building (dating from 1867).
We prize the formality of the catholic tradition and chorale music. We also
prize the informality that comes with children and the variety of liturgies
offered.
We have a long and proud history of supporting social service groups that
work with the vulnerable, and work to challenge and change the causes of
such vulnerability.
We seek to encourage spiritual growth. This may be by looking again beneath
the obvious; by helping a stranger; by taking time to do 'no thing'; by
letting compassion guide your business; or by listening for God in the
cacophony of our own lives.
