Unless we have a personal revelation of the kingdom of God will we never have personal spiritual discernment for what is truly spiritual and lasting, contrary to everything that is earthly and temporal.  If we cannot discern the kingdom we have been born again into spiritually, will we never taste the things of God and know the reality of what we have been called to.  For the kingdom of God is not found in advertising and promotion, nor is it found in anything glossed up, marketable and trendy.  Nor is it found in any place set-up institutionally by man.  It simple can't be and does not need to be.  It does not come with observation, nor is it physically distinguished, and cannot be captured geographically to be exploited or monopolized by men.  Many try to storm it and take it by force, as many tried to do with it's King and make Him their self-appointed King in the time of the gospels.  They could not see nor could they understand that this heavenly King only comes with the kingdom strictly on His terms (they are eternally one and the same) and can only be found by being spiritually born into, on the criterion all self-appointment, self-preservation, and self-promotion are mortified at the cross.  Then and only then, can one be a candidate for this kingdom, which he is to proclaim and make known to this lost world for those who would be broken, desperate, and needy enough to receive it.

I have said it before, and will say it again ...  the Book of Acts opens with the kingdom, publishes the kingdom throughout, and ends with the kingdom.  It cannot be leavened or tainted by man. You cannot belong to both the kingdom of the present world and the kingdom to come (which is now).  Many can't see it or discern it because they have not let go of the present geographical one, which is a very poor counterfeit of the superior heavenly one, manifesting itself religiously, as well as politically and socially.

Yes, there is a big shake up!  And if you are discerning events by the eye of the Spirit in conjunction with the written word, you will only see it getting worse and worse.  This is the true reality of the situation which goes beyond false hope, false prophecy, and plain old wishful thinking.  As well as being an impossibility to witness or initiate improvement, amendment or reparation, in the moral and spiritual sense. 

As history repeats itself, we will keep seeing, until the end, wars being justified by being called "righteous" crusades and being executed in the name of God.  With a continued shift in power balance and a paradigm move among more civilized nations, as super powers are brought to their knees or even into Third World status, while inferior regimes come to the fore in superior trickery and accomplishment.  Remember, it took a teenage shepherd boy to bring down a monster and act as a catalyse to defeat a mighty heathen army, in a bygone era!  Much closer to our present age, it only took a protruding hunk of ice to sink the mighty "unsinkable" Titanic!  A present, it only takes one small bird flying into a supersonic jet engine to bring down a large airliner out of the sky!  Or one little cigarette butt to destroy million of trees and anything else in its path!

America is losing or just about lost Iraq and will very soon have to negotiate (which is already happening in part in some areas) with the Insurgency who already control parts of Baghdad, and large parts of the country, including towns.  As I write this, there is so much parallels with Vietnam, it is uncanny.  When victory will be conceded by the so-called Coalition, diplomatically in the guise of achieving regional stability or something, Iraq will fall back into tyranny, which the populace will be prepared to go back to, if it means security with an end to chaos and anarchy.  They have no choice.

Not to forget to mention America, as the major world power and monetary bully ...  It may only take another couple of major disasters of what has recently happened on the Gulf Coast and Florida last year.  Every nation, no matter how powerful, has a weak spot or weak underbelly, and the only wise God our Saviour knows very well how to use it to a nations decline or even dismissal:

Deut. 10:17.  "For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward".

A quick reminder from history ...  How a small band of men concealed in a mocked up wooden horse could penetrate an impregnable walled city, opening it up to the previously unsuccessful invading hordes on the outside.  From the pages of documented history, we know it was all over pretty hastily for Troy.

From the Bible we also know how Mighty Babylon of old was taken out.  A city of 1.2 million people in area of about 15 square miles surrounded by walls said to be 87 feet thick and 350 feet high, with the walls in turn surrounded by a moat 35 ft. wide.  When the writing had already been on the wall, had it not?  Literally ... !

Outside the city of Babylon, Darius' foreign armies had diverted the waters of the River Euphrates into a new channel so his armies could come swarming along the dried up river bed leading to and underneath the city walls.  Soon they were inside the city heading for the King's Palace and bursting into the King's party, bent on death and destruction.  As the scripture say ... "that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain"!

Not to forget the rapid collapse of the Soviet Union before our very own eyes, and even the rise and fall of Nazi Germany in just a short two decades, during the Soviet Union's earlier period.

As the USA gradually or rapidly plunges into Third World status, with the rise of the new United State of Europe (who will incidentally do a U-Turn on a guaranteed peace treaty signed in the Mid East, to Israel's detriment and complete betrayal) as my country becomes open slaver for an Asian superpower to unleash itself unchecked; then we will see the rest of SE Asian subdued, plus Australasia and Oceania.

The sleeping Giant of the Orient is now becoming the Awakened Dragon, transforming itself from Middle Age peasantry to a progressive wonder virtually overnight.  God will use the dismissal of America (the current balance of power) to bring judgement to our wicked end of the Globe.  Innocent wee New Zealand is no longer a naive, isolated island nation, from God fearing beginnings; but is now hell-bent on being a post-Christian neo-pagan nation.  Of course, as always, God is not mocked and will not defend a nation who refuses to honour Him!

Nowhere on planet earth will be exempt from God's wrath whether partial or full.  The changing weather patterns and unpredictable acts of terror breaking out in divers places are only birth pangs to what is ahead,l and the very reason we need to get into the kingdom that cannot be influenced or tainted by Satan, man, or events.  The King is indeed coming soon for His own!  It is also the very reason the world will look to a flesh and blood "miracle" man as it's alternative saviour and peace initiator, before the final end will come.

Oh, how our Mighty God can change events to blessing or destruction in such a short period of time. Or gradually as he did with Imperial Rome.  Yes, the writing is on the wall.  This is not a political, or malicious, or bias statement in any sense, but merely one in order to point folk to a kingdom that never fadeth nor can be shaken.

Now how simple, secure and stable is that!  Trouble is ...  too many would rather remain in the self-made comfort of manmade Christendom, enjoying lofty and pretty sermons, and going through the rigmarole, motions, gamesmanship and performances of religious attendance and "duty".  Ever learning, but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.

Even leaving Her (the System that is) but looking back at Her, is not enough according to scripture.  Remember Lots wife?  Jesus said, "No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God."  It must be ALL for ALL!  Then we will see and be in the kingdom, and without hypocrisy publish and manifest the kingdom to others ... "Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."
