An anti masculine gospel?:

Jer. 48:10.  "Cursed be he that doeth the work of the LORD deceitfully and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood."

We can be so busy exposing such deceptions as the False Signs and Wonders Movement, Restorationism, Replacement Theology, Midrash and the HRM, the Word of Faith, the EM, the RCC, and all the mumbo jumbo that comes with the Apostasy, while we miss the less obvious 'closer to home' deceptions of how we portray the gospel through our cultural, denominational upbringing.  All totally lacking the support of scripture anyway.  It is also the lie about how we win people to the Kingdom of God, when we are actually campaigning for their attendance to our system, to justify our religious lifestyle, our brand of  Western "Christian" culture; to keep "the programme" ticking over.

Here it is ...  straight to the point:  Get men saved, then you get the family!  It's as simple as that!  And it's as scriptural as that!  However, there is a great cost of course; because this gospel is nothing short or nothing more than what the cross stands for!  Simply because ... who wants the pain and discomfort of entering the kingdom, if there is an easier, painless, bloodless, approach!

Now are you ready for a man to man, blow to blow, iron matching iron, scripturally based (and neglected), gut truth?  Get ready!  Coz there is no other option:

Heb. 12:4.  "Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin."

Although Derek Prince is one of the best, clearest, and simplest to understand teachers around, the problem I have with Derek's teaching on the Jezebel Spirit is that he lets the (Christian) man off the hook by excusing him for being the wimp he may be around his home through the repressing power of the manipulation and control spirit of  Jezebel.  This is because he exposes the problem but does not bring the true remedy I feel.  A trap we all too often fall into from time to time.  A trap we need to diligently and discerningly be on guard against!

According to this type of reasoning, the man is helpless when he is up against a Jezebel wife or woman in his home, or church, or work place.  Or when a pastor is up against a Jezebel Prophetess in his congregation; as he is up against more than just a mere person, but an invisible, devising spirit in the supernatural realm.  In other words ...  a man at loggerheads with a "Christian" matron/witch remains spiritually and environmentally impotent unless he seeks help from a "Spiritual Professional" for deliverance and strength (trouble is - he usually loves being molly cuddled!).  This is a contradiction of scripture really, as the word makes it plain all Believers have been equipped with the spiritual weapons necessary to fight the enemy based on the victory of the cross, revealed through the scripture.  As well as, the individual Bloke being granted the responsibility to make a stand as a man of God in the true biblical sense.  After all, just as Believers have been provided with defensive armour they have also been provided with an offensive, effective weapon, namely the sword of the Spirit (the word of God - the scriptures), to fight effectively against our common spiritual foe:

2 Cor. 10:4.  "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds."

Here is something more to quote out loud, believe in your heart, and take necessary measures:

Is. 54:17.  "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper."

Necessary measure is very important!  However, it must be mixed with faith and with a humble attitude:

James 4:7.  "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

It is written!!:

Once again the woman's (or wimp's) only hope to find freedom of bondage (if they really do want it) is to look for a so-called person who is "qualified" enough to deal with this problem where much more than just loud "spiritual fanfare", beating the air with prayer, and "spiritual warfare" (without repentance) is required.  This is a defeatist attitude I feel, relinquishing the head of the home of his responsibility and once again putting the power back in the hands of a "pastoral/ministerial" figurehead (who is probably under Jezebel anyway), undermining both husbandry and fatherhood.  The scriptures are very clear the man is head (1 Cor. 11:3;  Eph. 5:23) irrespective of what society is now saying, or someone's culture dictates, as he is not to relinquish his strength to the opposite gender no matter what excuse he pulls outta the bag:

Proverbs 31:3.  "Give not thy strength unto women".

The scriptures never leave the man up in the air or off the hook responsibility wise, but demands obedience to the word unconditionally:

1 Cor. 16:13.  "Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong."

The man has no excuse as the word of God arms him against all the power of the enemy :

Luke 10:19.  "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."

Jesus chose twelve men to go and make disciples of other men.  This result would eventually be ... "These that have turned the world upside down"!

Wanna be a man of God?  Do you want turn the world upside down?  And stand up to Jezebel?  Then become a Jehu and not an Ahab!  Become a man and not a spiritual eunuch!  Become a David (a man of war) and not a Solomon (a palace potato)!  Take up your sword and not your remote control!

In other words ...  Blokes be Blokes!  Stop pussyfooting around!  Take responsibility for your God given role!  Sharpen up and "give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings (and pastors)."  No one can do this but the individual man himself.  No other can hold his hand, scratch his back, or pamper his masculinity.  There must be some response from within the man himself, to snap himself out of his religious trance, his own personal apathy, laxity, and procrastination; by taking the bull by the horns, and going for broke!  All the prayer and care in the world would only massage his religious problem if he wasn't challenged and jolted, and willing to be delivered out of his spiritual rut or comfort zone.  He must become a king and a priest within his rightful domain (his home first), watching and rejecting thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.

This is why the scriptures say in Proverbs 17:6 ...  "the glory of children are their fathers."

They are supposed to be the hero figure (if I can use this term) for children ...  no one else!

This brings me to an area I have never seen taught or exposed before.  This is the modern evangelical method of "reaching the world for Jesus", as most emphasis is placed here.  It is the tactics of the Jesuits, the Communists, the Nazis, and so on ... to win the young to subvert the old, all in the interest of their cause.  This is the area Outreach Teams and church programmes are aimed at (although in a "meeker and milder" form!).  It is the topsy-turvy, reverse-role doctrine that in order to win the family to Jesus, it is better to reach the children first.  How does it go ... ?  “Give me a child until the age of seven, and I'll give you a (convert) for life.”

Although I do not have a problem the Lord can sovereignly save a man through the witness of his/a child, or his wife/a woman, I cannot see in scripture (because it is simply not there) where the disciples were trained, or urged to go and reach the children with the gospel in order to get their mothers saved.  Then due to the "spiritual" domino effect (if they were "lucky"), the man could also be urged to go to church and respond to the message, by the persuasion of the rest of the family.  This concept (although popular and catchy) is totally contrary to scripture and subverts once again the family through sneaking in through the back door.  This method actually demeans the Gospel, making it into an effeminate, emotional, persuasion, piece of machinery.

Don't get me wrong ...  I am fully aware of the scripture ... "Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God."  Nor am I against reaching needy homeless children as some selfless Christians (who need support) are out there just doing that for Christ!  Reaching the homeless and oppressed!  Those desperate teenagers and toddlers hiding in back street allies and sewers   While I have the luxury of tapping this message on the keys on my word processor at home at the moment, and you have the comfort of reading or deleting, someone is out there in the highways and hedges giving that cup of water in Jesus name.  What I am doing is merely exposing the cheap, mechanical, short-cut; substituting biblical man to man (by men) evangelism.

Wanna get back to the New Testament times do you?  Because this is exactly how the church commenced and multiplied.  Unlike today, where the overall impression is Christianity is not really for Blokes, but women and children, along with a few pansies.

Wanna get back to the early church?  Then ...   "Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong"!

The biblical principal is this ...  evangelism is to men first - not to children:

Is. 38:19.  "The living, the living, he shall praise thee, as I do this day: the father to the children shall make known thy truth."

The truth comes, or should come, from the man as the head through Christ, to the wife, then to the children.  Get the men folk truly saved and filled with the Spirit, then all heaven will break out in families.  If dear families come to the Lord, then they will  in turn have an impact on other families, followed by an impact on society in general.  If men are truly converted by the word and not brainwashed or coerced into a system, or follow a dangling carrot into the "Sanctuary", then they will by conviction, stand up for who they are in God, being tender and loving towards their wives, responsive to their children, as well as genuinely responsible before their Maker.  Result ..  the healing of families; a big no no in the kingdom of darkness:

Luke 1:17.  "And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient (wimps and pew potatoes) to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people (the remnant) prepared for the Lord."

The Lord is committed to saving families, complete and intact, for His glory.  This will generally come about by the man being converted first, or by at least taking on his full God given responsibility:

Acts 10:2.  "A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house"
Acts 11:14. "Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou (the man) and all thy house shall be saved."
Acts 16:31.  "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou (the man) shalt be saved, and thy house."

Why?  Get the man truly saved and you get the family.  Get the man saved then he will have an impact on his business contacts, his company, his employees,  his colleagues, his work mates, and so on; with the glorious gospel of the kingdom of Christ and of God.  If men rose up in God, free from religiosity, free from gimmickry, word based, cross centred, and Spirit filled; then and only then would other men take note!

Pr. 20:29.  "The glory of young men is their strength (masculinity): and the beauty of old men is the grey head (wisdom)."

There is no priestesses, pastoresses, nor deaconesses in the Holy Bible (ignore the New Versions)   The gospel is not an effeminate wishy washy potion or tonic!  Nor does it accommodate Political Correctness, soppy sentiment, or the "milk of human kindness"!  It's God's Son ...  a wounded innocent man carrying first, then dying an agonizing death on a splintery, raw, rude and crude cross!   For mankind!  Without any gloss, thrills or decorations attached.  Minus elegancy, sickly sop, and effeminacy.  Did you not know that no effeminate will inherit the kingdom of God ...  1 Corinthians 6:9!

It's time the world knew Jesus was calling men, to make fishermen of men.  Not "spiritual" eunuchs, "spiritual" exhibitionists, wimps, pansies, powder-puff preachers, and all of that guff!  But full, rounded, spiritually virile men!  And making them into Men of God!  One eyed for the Kingdom!

Men to men evangelism is the key to true conversion in men, permeating into their circle of  influence.  Then and only then would we see the true restoration, the true recovery, the true renewal, the true revival; what many "love" to talk about, push for, and even pray about.

2 Tim . 2:2.  "And the things that thou hast heard from me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."

Sums it all up really!

In an age where love is no longer married with truth, nor peace with righteousness; where forgiveness is preached without repentance ...  the message is still the same:

Luke 13:3,5 ...  "except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."

This is not  "New Millennium", New Wave, Universal Salvation, Easter or Xmas claptrap, but Biblical truth through and through!

2 Cor. 5:11.  "Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men".

Who's going to tell them?
