Private Interpretation or Revelation?
Whereby,
when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ
Ephesians 3:4
.
Kings and priests unto God, and fellow pilgrims!!! Where did an apostle called Paul get his revelation and gospel from ... sitting at the feet of the older apostles, from a trusted mentor and friend, hands-down from his previous rabbinistic training, a recommended Bible college, or from a special fraternity when he spent time in Arabia? Nope, none of these things! Answer from Galatians 1:12:
"For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ."Who was it that said that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely?
From evangelical scholars to the advocates of the Hebrew Roots Movement, man goes about his (very) subtle crusade to have power over the word of God in order to keep their position of power, so that the hungry would come through them for revelation. However, is it God's will for one particular party to monopolize God's word? I've got great news ... and it is very simple, and scriptural (and absolutely detested by some - I wonder why?), that God has sent His Holy Ghost for revelation. This means the humble and desperate can find God and have a two way relationship with their Maker. |

Allowing the diagram to speak for itself, here is a comparison and clarification in exposing the move to Judaize (or religiosify) the whole Bible in order to neutralize Christianity, and move the power base back into the hands of a "select" few. "Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation (2 Pet. 1:20)".
Paul never got it (that's the Mystery of Christ - or the gospel of grace) by private interpretation by the way (by the agency of a fraternity or exclusive group), nor by emotional or intellectual persuasion. Paul got it none other than by revelation. Good enough for Paul, then good enough for all of God's elect ... "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him". Amen!
