The Gatecrashers

aftermath
If
the spirit of the ruler rise up against thee, leave not thy place; for
yielding pacifieth great offences.
Ecclesiastes 10:4
Here is good news for those who seek retribution or declare war with others
they are in conflict with ... Jesus did away with war at the cross!!!!
Eph. 2:16. "And that he might reconcile both (sides of the conflict) unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby".
Moreover, try and get your little brain around this (2 Cor. 10:):
"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh".
This side of the Old Testament (that's since the cross 2,000 years
ago)
the seed of war is sown in the heart of a man before
religion or politics comes into the equation, and before the real enemy
(Satan) can exploit it for his own means, which always ends in theft,
death and
destruction by the way (John 10:10). This is the opposite of why Jesus came
the first time. It is also diametrically opposed to the spirit
that is operating and crusading through "Christian" militant patriots
today, who blatantly ignore the written, inspired words of Paul, that we do not
fight "against flesh and blood":
Jesus came (in His very own spoken and recorded words), "that they
might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
The spirit that comes to pay vengeance, "take out", and justify
destruction en mass, is ANOTHER SPIRIT! No exception!
Yes, Jesus cancelled war out at the cross and before war is resurrected, declared or made outwardly, it is
first born in the heart from another source:
James 4:1. "From whence come wars and fightings among you? come
they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?"
In Christ all wars are extinguished and it is another spirit that would resurrect war in the heart:
James 4:. "Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have,
and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask
not."
The remnant (the redeemed in Christ) do not have a fight with anyone
(apart from a spiritual adversary) simply because they belong to another kingdom, as the present one goes on
fighting between themselves:
John 18:36 ... "My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight".
This is the very reason Bible believers do not take to their enemy
using carnal weapons but love and pray for them. It is also the
reason our fight is in the spiritual realm, where we go beyond using
carnal means, to using spiritual means (2 Cor. 10:4):
"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal "
"Carnal" ... meaning, using what is merely human, temporal, of man, of secular leanings. Stemming from worldly desires and passions. Pertaining to using physical means for physical ends.
Do these things have any place in the spiritual, godly man? Nope! Therefore, this is no
longer
a time to take the kingdom by force as the violent do, but to enter as
a child, as Jesus instructed those who would come to Him would do.
Following are
these points made relevant for our age, nullifying the spirit of the
"Reconstructionist" or the "Kingdom Now" adherent, or a "Just War":
