This is the main Depot at "Hungry Creek" where there are

loco facilities, a freight area, and stock pens.

Welcome to the "Hungry Creek & Long Pass" Railroad. This railroad is situated at Milford, on the North Shore of Auckland, New Zealand. This is the third outdoor railway that the owner has constructed on this site. This is a railroad in it’s own right, it is not a model of any particular railroad or area, although there may be some resemblance to areas of Colorado.

There is approx.80 meters (262 feet) of mainline and branch track with a further 50 meters of storage roads. It is possible to run 6 complete trains inside a shed for storage. This certainly makes life easy when preparing the railroad for operation.

Equipment from most of the Gauge one manufacturers is operated and apart from scale differences, couplers and rivet counting spectators, the overall impression is quite pleasing. You are welcome to reach your own conclusions after viewing the attached pictures.
