Flirt started us on our current breeding program, and for this we are grateful to her breeder, Rev. John Unverricht. Flirt was from the first Pointer litter bred in the South Island for many years and she was the puppy that 'nobody wanted' yet she turned out the best. Being bred by a priest we suppose that she was blessed right from the start! She won right from the start in the showring, and proved a great brood bitch.

Her breeding stems from the old New Zealand Pointer lines of Sid Geary's Stamford kennels mixed with the UK import NZ Ch Crookrise Gunner and the Australian import Ch Borbor Ibor bred by David Wong.

We have bred directly down from Flirt through Ch Porthcurno Touch of Gold, Gr. Ch Porthcurno Touchin'Wood, to Porthcurno Rose Touch.
