3. Minutes of the 2006 AGM

   The Minutes of the Annual Meeting held on 16 February 2006 were taken as read and approved, moved Gerald Bryan, seconded Graham Hooper, carried.

   • Matters Arising

     None

4. President's Report

   The President read her report and moved its adoption, seconded Claire Bradburn, carried.

5. Treasurer's Report

   Brian Smith presented the financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2006. He pointed out a surplus of $310.14 for the year and the Association has assets of $4068.04. The amount of $410 is still to paid to clubs for hosting tournaments during the year. He also commented that membership has been steadily increasing every year. That the Financial Statements be approved, moved Claire Bradburn, second Liz Rocks, carried.

6. Affiliation Fee

   That affiliation fees remain at $2, moved Brian Smith, seconded Kath Alison, carried.

7. Election of Officers

   There were no nominations received in writing prior to the meeting so they were taken from the floor. Graeme Morris took the Chair for the election of the President.

   • President

     Fay Doyle, moved Graham Hooper, seconded Brian Smith. Moved Claire Bradburn that nominations be closed. Fay Doyle was elected President for the coming year.

   • Secretary

     Beverley Mason, moved Jan McHardy, seconded Dirk Winnie. Nominations were declared closed and Beverley Mason elected Secretary for the coming year.

   • Treasurer

     Brian Smith, moved Graham Hooper, seconded Claire Bradburn. Moved Pat Scholes nominations be closed. Brian Smith was elected Treasurer for the coming year.

8. General Business

   1. Graham Hooper moved a vote of appreciation to the Executive who have steered the Association through some stormy waters during the year. Carried with acclamation.

At 7.50 p.m the meeting closed.
