I'm Paul and my wife is Eileen, we live in Auckland, New Zealand. Eileen is originally from Scotland where we met. I lived and worked in the UK for 8 years. We came to NZ (back home for me) about 3.5 years ago. We have a large section and a big house so the animals are very happy. We are about 10 minutes from the city centre. Auckland has about 1.2 million people with a very diverse culture, lots of Asian, South Pacific Islanders, the indigenous Moari's and European people. The main language is English and we are the only English speaking people not to have any accent ah!! The weather in Auckland is warm to hot in the summer and only mild in the winter ( about 20 - 26deg cent in summer and typically around 5 - 10 deg cent in the winter, maybe even a bit warmer). There are lots of beaches and parks and outdoor things things to do here and I think it's a great place to live. Hidden amongst the photos are pic's of Eileen & I.
Here are 4 views of Auckland taken from Mount Eden summit, a hill in the center of Auckland.
This is looking towards the city center itself with the Sky Tower poking out. This is Rangitoto Is an extinct volano that erupted about 600 years ago.
Here's the harbour bridge that links the city to the north shore. Finally One Tree Hill, the lone tree on the summit is resented by the Moari's
for various reasons and they have tried to chop it down a few times.
