This is my web site seeking justice for myself from Dr MacDonald of the Porirua Community Mental Health Team, whom is employed by Capital and Coast District Health Board, (CCDHB) and registered with the NZ Medical Council, and he is a member of the Royal Australian and NZ College of Psychiatry.

Dr MacDonald refuses to be honest about his dealings with Mrs Shirley Cressy of EarthLink Inc in Upper Hutt, beginning from early 2002.

 

As a result of Dr MacDonald’s actions since 2002, I had some short stays in CCDHB’s Adult Mental Health Unit, Ward 27 in July 2007, where I saw nurses behaving so unprofessional, I became concerned for the safety of other mental health consumers staying there. And I wrote to the CCDHB Complaints Facilitator and the Health and Disabilities Commisioner.

 

I received a telling of from the CCDHB management, and I was totally ignored by the Health and Disabilities Commisioner,

 

So I wrote to the Minister of Health at the time, the Hon David Cunliffe, and the Ministry of Health. I had some acknowledgments that they received my letters but no further replies. This was for political reasons, because the Labour Government knew it was very likely in its last term in power, and already had been embarrassed heaps by health service shortcomings being discovered by the news media.

 

I wrote about both Dr MacDonald’s actions with Shirley Cressy, and what I saw in Ward 27. In fact, I became very vocal about it.

 

All of a sudden, 6 weeks after I had been in Ward 27, Dr MacDonald wanted to see me for the first time in 18-months, he demanded that I take his mind-blotting medications, I said no, that wanted him to own up instead, so for the first time in my life, he used the Mental Health Act on me, in a attempt to silence me, both to protect himself from the truth coming out about his actions, and to protect the CCDHB from being embarrassed by the news media, regarding what I saw in Ward 27.

 

I would note that my Member of Parliament Winnie Laban (Labour) got herself mixed up too, in the situation, being misinformed about me by Shirley Cressy using Dr MacDonald’s name in 2002. I have a document showing Ms Laban abusing the powers of her office, to try and silence me, this document has been on-line for public viewing for more than 3 years, likewise my story about Shirley Cressy. Both know the information is on the WWW, neither of them has ever threaten me with legal action, BECAUSE they know they are at fault, and they don't want me to have my day in court ever so I can be vindicated.

 

10 days after Dr MacDonald used the Mental Health Act on me,  (Sept 2007) Dr Kurt Wendleborn in Ward 27, took me off the Act, and with his knowledge shortly afterwards I was off the mind blotting drug too. Dr Wendleborn knows about Dr MacDonald’s actions.

 

Three months later in early 2008 the Porirua Community Mental Health Team, knowing I was off this drug which Dr MacDonald tried to use the MH Act to force me to take against my will, discharged me once and for all.

 

April 20008 my GP supported me while I came off the last of my psychiatric medications. And ever since, I have been miles better.

 

The only reason none of my concerns have been addressed by people like the Health and Disabilities Commisioner is because I bear the heavy burden of the label “Mental Health Consumer” with all its associated stigma and discrimination. while Dr MacDonald, Shirley Cressy and the CCDHB staff and management have all the credibly because they have the label of “Professionals”. (Albeit, with something to hide)

Above is a photo of a storage system I build, to store amongst other things (there are other boxes) all the documents I collected relating to the above since 2002, and I am fully prepared to show selected documents in a court of law.

As I am suggesting, I will be pleased to prove the validly of my web site facts, to a judge in a NZ Court of Civil Law KNOWING that only that way will I get a FAIR hearing about Dr MacDonald’s actions.
