Moses looks back towards the drive
which is now looking quite established after just 5 years.
Fifi has now passed on but liked to follow me out to the gate
and be carried home as does Moses.
Moses follows me out on a very hot afternoon.
He meows loudly to be picked up and carried home!
It is too hot on yet another day without rain.
Hedge of native coprosma has had its first trim and the Ake Ake and Kowhai trees
are growing on the left side. The Cabbage, Broadleaf, Lemonwood,
Matipo and Kanuka are doing well also in spite of the lack of rain this summer
Drive and flowers with young native trees is beginning to take shape.
It was a year on 27th April since I first looked at this land and Nick came with me on 29th.
