Moses walks down a path of flowering Prostrate Thyme, spreading between granite stepping stones. Other native groundcovers are planted to mingle with the Thyme.
Various varieties of the native Corokia are springing up as hedges, which will be kept to limited heights according to where they are and their species but, out of view to the right are larger shrubs and trees to cut off the wind.
Textures of complimentary leaves and colours using natives for hedges and ground covers are restful.
Dwarf daisies stand up to wind. The Iris looked wonderful until a good nor-wester. Grow hedges!
