Session Times

Morning Sessions ~Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8.45am - 11.45am    & Wednesday   8.45am - 12.45pm  Friday   8.30am - 2.30pm

Afternoon Session ~ Monday, Tuesday, Thursday    12.45pm - 3.15pm

It is important to adhere to these times as outside these times….it is our time to prepare the sessions for your child

 

Attendance

Your child’s attendance needs to be regular

Please let us know if your child will be absent

It is a requirement of the Ministry of Education that you sight and sign the attendance roll monthly

 

Clothing and Belongings

~ Please ensure all children’s clothing/shoes and belongings are named

~ We encourage children not to bring their own toys from home

~Every child has a locker to put their belongings in

~ Please send a drink of water daily and 3 pieces of fruit per week with your child…

~ Children require a change of clothes and a sunhat
 
Fees

Fees for one week 5 morning sessions                       Weekly fee: $ 23.67 including GST

Fees for one week 4 morning sessions (not Fridays)  Weekly fee: $ 14.62 including GST

Fees for one week 3 afternoon sessions                     Weekley fee: $ 8.43 including GST

Invoices are given out during the term. You may place money in brown envelopes which are on the blue posting box, write on child’s name and post in blue box

You can pay by the week/fortnight/month/term or make arrangements with the staff

WINZ forms are available at the kindergarten and EFTPOS is available for fee payments

 

Other Information

~ Every child has their own Learning Profile which you can view anytime (on library shelf)  

~ We are available for formal and informal discussions on your child’s progress

~ On the library shelf you will find our latest ERO Report, Management Plan and Policy and Information Folder

~ On our notice board you will find some of our Policies including, Inquiries, Concerns and Complaints

~ Check our white board by entrance door for daily, weekly and termly information of importance

Daily Routines

~ On arrival the children, with your help, find their name card and put it on the board.

~ Attached to these names, at times, are notices…please take these.

~ We have a book for you to sign if someone different from usual is to pick your child up.

~ We have a mat time at the end of the session for stories, songs and most importantly so we can dismiss each child when their caregiver, parent/whanau come for them.

~ Mat times are planned for your kindergarten age child, we put a lot of time and energy into making this an interesting fun learning time. 

~ We love to have you stay with us, but please, if you wish to talk to other parents or if you have toddlers please respect that mat times are a time for quiet and concentration.
