Slovenia
At the beginning of this project, we knew virtually nothing about the film's namesake country. Now we know a whole lot!

The Republic of Slovenia is a small democratic middle european country wedged in between Italy to the west, Austria to the north and Croatia to the south. It also has a substantial border with Hungary. It has a population of 2 million people.
One of its claims to fame is that it was the first ex-Yugoslavian state to become independent after a short ten-day war in 1991.
Their currency is the Tolar - one New Zealand dollar is worth about 132 Slovenian tolars. They love their football, and they call themselves 'the sunny side of the Alps'.
