The Film
It's about hope, friendship and the quarter-life crisis. It's about the angst of becoming an adult. It's about taking chances. Val is twenty eight. He works at a local vacuum cleaner retailer, while he decides what to do with his life. Despite having security on many fronts, he feels as if he's almost on the edge of losing everything he has. Fay is twenty four. Her life is pretty much on hold - she's sure she'd have something to work towards in life, when she works out what that's going to be. Until that comes around, she's happy waiting tables at the local diner and hanging out with Val and Frank. Far loves Frank to bits - he's so dorky and adorable. Val irritates her a bit, but she can't work out exactly why - whether she actually likes him, or whether she's just annoyed he doesn't get off his butt and make something of himself. Frank is twenty six. He's an extrovert around his friends, and an introvert around everyone else. He's a nice guy, really, he just needs to convince girls of this. Well, just one girl really, the blonde angel from the Bible Dealership down the road. Frank doesn't seem to have ambitions, seems to be happy working selling second hand cars to some very strange people. But deep down, that's really not the case. He's as restless and as anxious as the other two.
