Houhanga Rongo is based in Otara, South Auckland, New Zealand, and currently
provides the following services to the community:

- We choose to walk beside those in our community, those individuals or families, who seek a place of acceptance and belonging.
We provide seminars and workshops on reconciliation, community development, counselling, cross-cultural understanding workshops and
an evaluation programme called "EMPOWER".Plus OUR VERY OWN Discipleship course called PURAPURA PAI,

We offer after-school tutoring to children who learn from a hands-on approach. Children learn literacy
and computer skills, reading, math, art and drama with the help from volunteer tutors.
