Many methods of choosing lotto numbers use a statistical method that is different to mine. There is a statistical method which looks at how often certain numbers come in (that is how often each ball come down the shute) and then make predictions based on this. Those of you who are interested in following such a method I would encourage you to seek information from NZPAGES web site. The proponents of such a theory might suggest such things as the weight of the paint on the balls might make certain balls heavier than others and thus weight their chances of coming.
However my approach is different. I do not make any assumptions about how often certain balls come in. The lotteries commission has not afforded me any opportunity of weighing each ball, nor have I had opportunity to study the physics of the barrel from which they roll.
What I do assume is that the results are more or less random and

This, however, does not prevent you from using the statistical information provided by NZPAGES. You can simply substitute your ball for mine for any of my results. The only thing that matters is that you are consistent and always substitute, say, ball "1" for ball "12" everywhere it occurs on any ticket. Its the group arrangements that are important in my calculations, not the individual balls.
Beware
lotto systems which decrease your chances of winning. For instance wheeler systems
which are advertised on web pages all over internet. Wheeler systems make misleading claims
about increasing your chances of winning when they in fact reduce your chances. They involve
grouping numbers together in a certain fashion and make for good marketing hype but deliver little.
They are based on certain criteria being met which are hardly ever true. My system is not
based on the wheeler system.
