As someone once said... "constantly under construction"
...as you can see it is slowly coming together... just a few wee bits to tidy up every now and
then, so if you have any ideas you would like to share with me... any comments would be more
than welcome!
You can email me at g.lj@clear.net.nz...
or how about ICQ if you have it (I am currently
I was born in Milton, New Zealand, and brought up in Balclutha, both of which are in
Otago. I am in my 30's (although very much
still trying to tell people that I'm only 29... sometimes I can get away with it, so I guess so long
as I still can -- what the hell...!!)
(I thought it was about time that I put up a picture of me too, so here goes -- but I'll probably
regret that!).

my number is 7716437 (or see below for quick messaging options!)
As always, it is difficult trying to decide just what to put up here -- so I thought I would at
least tell you a little about me!

I've also got a picture of me at the 1999 Hero Parade that I should get ready to put up here too, but I might regret that even more... but that might take me a while to pluck up the courage! Well.. here goes, but like I said, I could well live to regret this too (especially with the angle the photo was taken at accenutating those love handles... hmmm.. must do something about that)!!

This was taken while I was walking along the parade route prior to the parade... there was a group of us (somehow I became separated from the rest of them :o) and the idea was to collect as much money for the Hero charity organisation as possible -- hence the skimpy outfits... |

| ...and this one is from the Mardi Gras Parade in Sydney this year (1999). We were waiting for things to get going... and of course who can't resist a photo opprotunity..? I at least managed to elbow out the other guys!! (hmmm... love those knobbly knees too!!) |

So, where does that leave me... some narscistic party loving animal..?? I hope not! But more about me --
Having travelled around the world (twice now!), I've decided to make Auckland my home (for now at least...) and I must admit I really like it here! You could always check out this lovely city
Before coming to Auckland in June 1998, I was in Wellington. This is really a very under-rated city, I don't know why, but it cops so much flak from the rest of the country, maybe it has something to do with being the seat of government...? The view driving from the Hutt into the city around the harbour is just fabulous!
In Wellington I had a job cooking on the weekends for Sir Walter and Lady Norwood (as in the Lady Norwood Rose Gardens) and that helped to keep me sane (as well as paying for life's little extravagances -- like partying at Sydney's Mardi Gras!
I've got a copy of my curriculum vitae here too, if anyone wants to have a read of it... :o)
I also put in voluntary time for the Wellington Gay Welfare Group which I found very worthwhile and enjoyable, doing telephone counselling. Luckily there isn't too much counselling, but it is great to know that we are there for those in need! Most of our time is spent providing information and just being there for those who want someone to chat to!
I've recently become addicted to IRC (Internet Relay Chat), you can find me most of the time on #gaynz (look out for littleG). Already I've managed to make a number of friends around the world... as well as having fun... :o)
A favourite web site of mine is Godiva chocolates -- great ideas on how to use chocolate when you're entertaining...!
I look forward to hearing from you, especially if you've got some ideas for me!
