Fathering the Future Trust is a
Christchurch based charitable trust that has been set up to raise the
profile of fathers in society. Through the work of the Trust we seek to
change existing cultures that do not value as parents, in the realms of
work, schools and sport. Our vision is to promote a culture where fathers
have an active and child centred parenting role. In all that we seek to
achieve, we aim to put the welfare of children first.

different family structures exist, we believe children develop best with
loving caring mother, father and whanau. In the context of all family
structures we believe the positive role of the father is vital to the
holistic development of the child."
