Lee joined High Street in
1997. Lee is committed to his patients for the long term
and enjoys getting to know their backgrounds and issues.
He has completed a post-graduate diploma in Sports
Medicine. He brings his experience as a father of three
young children to his practice in children's health. Graeme joined High Street in 1992. He provides full antenatal care and carries out deliveries at local hospitals. He offers acupuncture for relief of muscle and joint pains. Graeme has a special interest in HIV medicine and sexuality issues and sexual health where he provides sound advice and encourages informed decisions. He is currently Chairman of the New Zealand AIDS Foundation.
Shelley has been in practice at High Street since 1989. She has a special interest in children's and women's health. As a mother of three she believes in listening to parents and trusts their knowledge of their children. She is experienced in treatment of musculoskeletal and occupational injuries and has a diploma in musculoskeletal medicine.
Mick joined High Street in 1992. He enjoys the variety of general practice medicine and giving his patients the time and attention they deserve. He has a special interest inadolescent and sexual health where he provides an informed and supportive environment in which to explore and clarify concerns.
Jo has worked at High Street since 1996. She has a special interest in women's health and contraception issues. She is also interested in the balance between physical and psychological well being and helps patients integrate these aspects of their lives. Jo provides her patients with clear information and options for making their own health choices.
Tim joined High Street in 1979 and continues to provide patients with the care he would like his own family, that is, kindness, care and accuracy of diagnosis and treatment. He has a special interest in sports medicine. Tim provides industrial health services to Christchurch employers, including pre-employment and annual screening medicals for staff in at-risk occupations. Tim is also experienced in forensic medicine and related judicial issues. Nursing Staff and Services Lyn Sligh, Christine Watson, Donna Rados and Sharon Burrell-Smith are the High Street nursing staff. They are always available so you can phone or drop in without an appointment. They can advise you on whether or not you need to see a doctor. You can see a nurse for blood pressure checks, pregnancy tests, travel vaccinations, child immunisations, liquid nitrogen (for wart removal), sun safe checks or ear syringing. Regular patients can also take part in our Stop Smoking programme or have blood tests carried out. |
