Grannies Brag Book
On these pages I will be publishing photos and comments from our kittens new families, with contacts where appropriate. I feel this will allow anyone interested in our cats to get an idea of how our kittens adjust to their new homes, families and existing pets. I know as an animal lover this would give me more confidence if I was looking for a new family member.

A few comments from people who have been taken over by our cats:
"I don't think I could ever imagine being in the kitchen or having a bath or hanging washing out or even just sitting relaxing without my faithful shadow chatting and burbling on in the background!!  It's like having a wee baby that is never going to grow up and get 'independent' and I love every minute of it!"

"He rushes to meet the car and leap onto the roof of it when I come home. He likes to come in through the bathroom window early in the morning and comes out to get the paper with me. He has a true Devon appetite and devours pineapple, melons, banana, cold porridge, crusts, yoghurt, etc along with normal cat fare."

"I am off shopping today for an indoor fountain for Jaq, he is so water mad! I can't leave the tap on all day, its too costly, and I know he would just love his own water display. "

"He loves to cruise around the Island
with us in the car, sitting right up front peering out the window"

"Even people who don’t like cats fall in love with him, especially when
he kisses them!"

" She is a real personality."

"Seems to be a bit of a Magpie, bringing me home all sorts of things."

" We all love her to bits, as she does us."

" She has a beautiful, gentle nature."

" They are both very chatty, and take over the pillows at night."

" He loves to retrieve."

" They are entertaining and a joy to have."

" She is curled around my neck, and firmly wedged in my heart already."

" He wants to be friends with just everybody."

"He has beautiful manners, he always asks before he does anything including using the dirt box! "

"My mother-in-law came over last night to meet the kitten, and she left as a total Devon convert!  He had her wrapped around his little finger within half an hour!"

"She is a real wee kisser & loves sleeping with me."

"She talks & chirupps & tells me about her day when I get home, and she is very sweet."

"Toast and honey is now a ritual to the point that if he hears the toaster pop for any reason he starts calling for his piece"

"Wet sheets on the line need to be good and dead before they are
allowed inside!  He is the great white hunter!!!"

"I decided this weekend that I don't know how I survived for this long without a Devon!"

"He gardened all day Saturday with me, I pulled the weeds and he killed them!"

"He is really sweety and he loves company."

"He loves giving cuddles when you are lying down...in bed, on the couch,  or in the bath. "

Wisecracks Miss Marble
Daughter of Yedolem I Spiedher and Wisecracks Wilhe Do
Born 26/7/2002
Due to allergies, Miss Marble Mayhem is the first cat that I've had the pleasure to live with.  From the moment she wakes up in bed with us in the morning, till the time that she snuggles into bed with us at night, she is a constant source of absolute enjoyment.  She's a confident, loving, talkative, purring machine.  She's busy during the day, but just sleeps all night with us.  We play hide and seek, she likes to hang over my shoulder and be "smacked" and the new trick is to sit like a meerkat on her back legs, waiting for a treat!!  She is so smart, so beautiful, so loved.   She's such a fantastic wee character and is loved so much.

Wisecracks Osso Booful
Son of Fibblewitz Periwinkle and Yedolem What's The Point, born on July 5th 2001

"Every cat lover should own a Devon Rex. Osso Booful is one in a million. A sociable and loving cat, and a very skilled food thief! He wins the hearts of all who meet him, once met never forgotten".

Wisecracks Oddfellow alias Pharoah
Son of Fibblewitz Periwinkle and Yedolem What's the Point, born on 18/10/2001

Pharoah is the most fun loving, beautiful, people orientated cat that I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with.
He loves to play hide and seek with you. He will sometimes lay in wait on the kitchen bench until I walk past so that he can tackle me!  He plays fantastically with my three year old daughter. despite being carted around for hours on end, and occasionally being stashed in a drawer he has never scratched her.
Pharoah loves my Mother's dog Kadi. One of his greatest pleasures in life is to grab onto Kadi's tail with all four legs and be dragged around the lounge. He loves the car, and while I am driving he will lay peacefully on my lap purring his little heart out.
Pharoah has an amazing amount of personality packed into his little body. I absolutely love him to bits.

Yedolem Curlin Merlin
Son of Yedolem Dynasty Blueprint and Enneads Andi Cola
Born 24/9/2002

Picture a hyperactive grasshopper overdosing on caffeine and you are halfway towards the Nudel!  He does not suffer from delusions of grandeur, he knows he is human!  Generous to a fault, we are allowed to share his bed at night, and Dad gets a cicada snack brought to him every afternoon!  Merlin is as thick as thieves with my 17-month-old son, where you will find one you will find the other. He has a character that would put a ‘pretty’ cat to shame!  He owns our house (we just pay the mortgage) and our hearts!  I could not imagine life without a Devon now, once met forever hooked!
