Adult Cats For Adoption
Adult cats requiring homes would either be cats returning from pet homes. We offer to find appropriate homes for any of our cats that for one reason or another can not remain with their families.
Secondly cats may be retired breeding cats. The desexed boys deserve loving homes, and a warm bed at night when they retire. However, it is not possible to keep even a desexed ex stud cat in a breeding cattery. There are too many fond memories and smells and they do not settle to a pet life style. Retiring females occasionally find life with everyone else having kittens and not them too much to bear!
Any of these cats will adjust well to a secure and loving pet home. Life in a home where there are breeding cats, is perpetually changing, personalities change with each change of circumstances. The hierachy is being frequently challenged. None  of these stresses exist in a one or two cat home.
Because all of our cats are loved pets, they are secure and able to adjust beautifully. The few cats we have sadly had to rehome, have brought great joy to their new families. Although we miss them, we know in each case they are happier in their new homes.

Yedolem Twister
Blue SmokeTortie Devon Rex gen 2

Twister sunbathing waiting patiently for a purrfect family!
Twister is a dear little girl, her type is not flash, she does have a lovely coat, and a soft sweet nature. Twister is spayed and vaccinated, and ready to take over a new family. I believe she would cope with one other cat but would prefer no more.

Wisecracks Anne Dante
Blue Silver Tabby Bicolour Devon Rex gen 3

ADOPTED
Annie is so. naughty, she makes you volley between wanting to kiss her and rehome her! She is very chatty, with attitude, but what could you expect with Kaya as her mother. Her Dad is Ba zooka, gentle soul that he is, think she got his look and Mom's nature. Annie has not managed to get in kitten and she hates being a part of such a big family. She will need an understanding home, and will reward her family with her amazing eccentric nature. Annie has found a wonderful home, with people who understand her. thank you to all of the people who loved her and wanted to give her a home.

Wisecracks Ba Zoon aka Xerxes
Blue Silver Tabby Bicolour Devon Rex
Born January 20th 2005

Sick of Sharing!
Xerxes is the brother of Ba Zooka, he lives in Wellington with four other Devons and is stressing. After much agonizing his family have decided Xerxes would be a happier cat in a home of his own. Xerxes tends to be a one person cat and is not the bravest of cats.  If you think you would be a patient loving person who could adopt Xerxes please contact Heather at  1wytewytch@gmail.com or phone 04 477 1981.

Wisecracks Gus Garrett
Black Bicolour Domestic gen 0

Still desperately waiting!

Gus is a real lovebug. His eye markings are fun, he actually looks like he is wearing eye liner! He dribbles when he smooches, and has added new genes to the small Devon gene poole, as well as his loving nature.  Gus is a very big, very clea, very loving boy. He is looking for an amazing home, desexed and vaccinated. Gus cannot move back into the house with us as we already have a retired stud cat who will make his life a misery! He so needs to be loved to bits, big soppy boy!

Because of our breeding for health program, we are sadly having to selectively rehome some of our ex breeding cats, to make way for their progeny. This is never an easy thing to do. We love each and everyone of our cats, and only rehome in the cats best interest. Retiring stud cats are unable to settle down to a sedate pet cat lifestyle when surrounded by an ever changing family of cats including calling queens.
The breeding for health program has also meant that we have bred a few outcross litters, this soon boosts ones cat numbers beyond what is comfortable for both the cats and the people. These cats must go to very special homes, I will be asking for the cost of desexing and vaccinating only. I also ask that their new families keep in touch, and if for any reason they can not keep the cat, at anytime in the future, I should be contacted.
