Updated 04/11/2002. 215KB A context-menu shell-extension for applications that adds the commands that Microsoft forgot to include in Windows!
It adds "Run with Commandline" and "Run from Command-Prompt" to the right-click menu, allowing you to easily run applications and pass them commandline parameters!
It's Excellent for running many programming utilities and MS-DOS/Windows console applications.

CPU Speed 30 KB CPUSpeed is a program that measures the clock-speed (in Mhz) of your computers CPU and displays it in a messagebox.
Because some CPU manufactures mark their CPU's with a performance rating rather than the actual clock speed, this program may display a value that is different to the speed marked on the chip.
The value displayed may vary slightly depending on what other programs are running, so for best accuracy close all other programs before running CPUSpeed.
(Requires Windows 9x/NT 4.0 or newer and Pentium or newer CPU)

GUID Generator 18 KB A Windows program that generates Globally Unique Identifier (GUID) strings.
GUID's are used extensively by Windows OLE/COM programmers to define object and class interfaces.

Hang Up 9 KB A Windows program that "Hangs Up" your Dial-Up connection to the Internet - No questions asked! (It will disconnect any and all Remote Access connections). Just Plonk it on your desktop, and hang-up the net with a double-click!

Saver Off 15.5KB SaverOff is another tiny Windows program that's handy to have on your desktop. It allows you to disable and re-enable the Windows screensaver quickly and easily. It displays a "Yes No" message box telling you the current state of screensaving, and the choice to change it. It does not update the Windows registry, so if you forget to re-enable the screensaver, it will revert back to it's default state the next-time Windows is started.

Icon Ripper 156KB "Icon ripper" is a Windows (32 bit) program that searches drive(s)/directories and extracts icon, bitmap and cursor images from files. It lets you save the images as bitmap (.BMP) or icon (.ICO) files.

Simple Budget v1.01
(self extracting zip) 208KB A Simple Windows 9x/NT program for doing your budget (household or other). You just enter all your Income and Expenses and it will add them up, subtract Expenses from Income, and give you the totals for each, plus the balance left over! It also has save, re-open, and print features.
