Click on the 'subscribe' button above to add this page to your Channels Bar, this way you can easily monitor the Whats New section.  Note this requires Microsoft Internet Explorer V4.x installed.

You should also be prompted if you wish to add this page to your Active Desktop, If you answer yes to this, then this page will be automatically displayed on your desktop and updated at regular intervals.   You must have 'view as web page' set on in your display properties to allow this.

You can also manually add pages to your desktop, this is how you would add mine manually:

From the Start menu, in Control Panel, click Display and then click the Web tab.
To add an item, click New and then follow the instructions on your screen. When prompted for a URL enter home.clear.net.nz/pages/brangwyn/index.htm this is the page your currently viewing
Dont forget to resize the window on your desktop to ensure you view the whole width of the page correctly
To remove an item, select it in the list and click Delete. Note that you can also temporarily hide items on your desktop by clearing its check box in the list.

Ever heard of ICQ ?

Well it's one of the current internet toys that seems to be taking the net by storm. Simply put ICQ is a user-friendly Internet program that tells you who's online at all times. No longer will you search in vain for friends or associates on the 'net. ICQ does the searching for you, alerting you in real time when they sign on. In addition, ICQ continually tells you which of your friends and associates are online.

With ICQ, you can chat, send messages and files, play games or just hang out with your friends while still surfing the net. The program runs in the background, while you work on other applications. ICQ alerts you when friends and associates sign on, allowing you to work efficiently while having a whole range of Internet functions at your fingertips. Among the functions available are: chat, message, e-mail, URL and file transfer. ICQ also supports a variety of popular external Internet applications. With ICQ, launching an Internet phone or video call is a breeze. With a click of a button, you and a friend (or friends) are instantly connected. These events may be executed among multiple users, so you can conduct a conference or just hang out online.

All these functions are organized in one easy-to-use program that integrates smoothly into your desktop.

Some simple tips for your viewing pleasure

Maximise your browser window to get the best from this site

If you're using Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 then this site is best viewed with the 'full screen' option at a resolution of at least 800x600, but better still at 1024x768

Also don't forget that you can resize all frames by moving your mouse over them until your pointer changes into the 'double arrow'. then moving the frame until it best fits your screen resolution.

If you don't have the "Comic Sans MS" font installed then you're missing out too. For Win 95/NT Click Here For Win 3.x Click Here to download a self-extracting/installing .exe

If anyone knows of a similar font for MAC and AMIGA platforms then please let me know so I can add a link to these too.
