• The design includes four different types of rotation, ensuring comfortable viewing whether you're standing or in a chair.
• The mounts are designed to take binoculars of up to 3 Kg, which includes most giant binoculars of 80 mm aperture.
• The counter weights can be transported empty and filled with water (for binoculars up to 1.7 Kg) or sand on site.
• Mounts can be supplied in standard pine or New Zealand native red beech, both with a beautiful, weatherproof polyurethane finish.
• When you're done viewing, simply fold the mount into an 89 cm (2.9') long unit and take it home.   My mount fits diagonally into my suitcase.

Attach your mount to a normal camera tripod.  Many tripods have removeable heads (like the one shown here), but if your tripod's bearings can be firmly fixed then you can attach the mount to the camera head.
